quick lesson: comfort zone

We hear so many people talking about “pushing yourself out of your comfort zone” or getting other people “out of their comfort zone.”

What’s wrong with a comfort zone?

If you ask me, we shouldn’t be pushing people out of their comfort zones; we should be EXPANDING their comfort zone. Teaching them how to do what it is that makes them uncomfortable and guess what, their comfort zone expands and they have a new comfort zone and they can do new things, more things and you can continue to EXPAND their comfort zone or your own comfort zone and before you know it, you know a lot more things and you’re doing a lot more things than if you were pushed out of your comfort zone and failed.

Why?

Because you were taught.
